1975年生まれ。大学在学中に友人と開いた展示会をきっかけに映画、ダンス、ミュージシャンなどの衣裳を手掛けるようになる。2002-03A/Wから自身のブランドを立ち上げ、2007-08A/Wより東京コレクションに参加。2008年からオーガニックコットンに特化した「ikkuna/suzuki takayuki」をスタート。2009年、Milano Unica主催の世界の新鋭デザイナー１０名の１人として選ばれ、合同ショーに参加。2012年、インドにて開催された「Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week」で合同ショーに参加。また、2015年10月インドネシア・ジャカルタファッションウィークに招待デザイナーとして参加。近年では、ウェディングドレスの制作、アーティストへの衣装提供、演劇やダンスの舞台での衣装製作を行っている。

Born in 1975. The exhibition which he had with his friend while in University got him started in designing costumes for movies, dance performances and music concerts. He launched his own label in the season of 2002-03A/W and debuted on schedule at TFW for 2007-08A/W. In 2008, Suzuki launched ” ikkuna/suzuki takayuki”, which focuses on organic cotton daily wear. He was invited to participate “onstage” at Milano Unica as one of the “top ten emerging designers” in 2009. In 2012 he participated in “Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week” held in India. He participated “fashion week in Indonesia/Jakarta”, as invitation designer in October 2015. Other than production wedding dress, the costume design for artists and also dance performance and drama. He seeking the harmony of human and clothes.
