JUNKO KOSHINO

大阪出身。文化服装学院デザイン科卒業。在学中に装苑賞を受賞。78-2000年パリコレ参加。85年北京、90年ＮＹ（メトロポリタン美術館）、94年ハノイ、96年キューバ、97年ワルシャワ等でショーを開催。92年中国歴史革命博物館ではデザイン展、08年ワシントンD.C、ケネディーセンターのJapan Festivalにてオープニングとショーをプロデュース。09年ミャンマー、キューバにて現地大使館要請によるショーを開催。2010年5月は中国人民大会堂にて、北京時装表演25周年記念交流会を開催。オペラ『魔笛』『蝶々夫人』やブロードウェイミュージカル『Pacific Overtures』の舞台衣装（トニー賞ノミネート）、マッスルミュージカル衣裳、スポーツユニフォーム、インテリアデザインまで活動は幅広い。

Born in Osaka, Koshino graduated Design course at Bunka Fashion College. Koshino won The Soen Award while she was in the college. She had held a Paris collection from 1978 to 2000. Koshino had shows in Beijing 1985, in NY (Metropolitan Museum) 1990, in Hanoi 1994, and in Cuba 1996, etc. She had her design exhibition at National Museum of History and Revolution of China(Beijing). In 2008, she produced the opening reception and held fashion show of Japan Festival at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. In 2009,she held the first foreign designer's fashion show from the Ministry of Foreign Affaires at the request of Mekong-Japan exchange in Yangon at the Union of Myanmar. And also held a Fashion show to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Diplomatic relations between Japan and Cuba. In 2010, she held dinner and fashion show in Great Hall of the People, Beijing. Her range of works is wide from designing costumes for the opera “The Magic Flute” and “Madame Butterfly”, the Broadway musical play “Pacific Overtures” (Nominated as Toney Award) and Muscle Musical to designing sports uniforms, and interior designing.
