2008年9月1日、新しいCFDがスタートしまし、早や5年めに入りました。

基本にかえり、デザイナーのためのデザイナーの集団であるということをあらためて踏まえた上で、厳しい現実に立ち向かうべく具体的な目標をかかげ、その目標に向かってまい進していくつもりです。

基本理念としては2つの大きなテーマを活動の両軸として再確認しました。

• 1：クリエイティビティの向上
• 2：ビジネス・チャンスの拡大

です。

この2つを推進するため、さまざまな企画を考えています。更に海外のファッション・シーンとの積極的な交流、知的所有権に関する勉強会なども随時推進していきます。

デザイナー１人１人が希望と活気にあふれ、クリエーションが出来る環境作りこそ、CFDの切なる願いなのです。

Message

Council of Fashion Desiｇners, TOKYO has made a new start since September 1st, 2008 and fifth year began already.

We think it is important to get back to the basics that we are a group of designers for designers, and we are highly motivated to advance toward concrete and specific goals set to face up to the harsh reality.

We set the following two themes as the fundamental principles of our activity.

• 1) To increse designers' creativity
• 2) To expand businesses in fashion industry

We are working out various projects to promote these two principles.
We are also very motivated to have contactwith people in fashion scenes overseas, and to constantly organize workshops of intellectual property rights.

Our dearest wish is to provide fashion designers with sufficient environment where they can have full of ambition and vibrant future in their creation.
